Welcome to the Houston Chapter American Payroll Association (HCAPA) website. I am excited and honored to be the 2009 President of this professional organization. We are committed to continuing the active role of providing education, professional networking, and community service. Becoming a member of our chapter is your first step to growth in your chosen profession. Your membership enables our chapter to grow and provide additional opportunities to our colleagues and the community.
Along with our informative monthly meetings, the Houston Chapter will continue to focus on the professional development of our associates and members by offering Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) study groups in the Spring and Fall of 2009. We will provide additional educational opportunities to attain RCH credits throughout the year with seminars on various payroll related topics.
The HCAPA is made up of professionals from all over the Houston area and beyond. We are thankful for their support and dedication. This includes volunteers who work in our many committees as well as community service events. Each quarter we will sponsor a different community service event to be included on each monthly membership meeting flyer. Please consider supporting the great organizations supported by the HCAPA.
